WINTER PARK, Fla. – Venue Edge (VE) is proud to announce that it has recently concluded work with the Mountain West Conference on its network rebrand, arriving on the heels of the conference’s streaming application relaunch just last year. The MW app streams over 800 live and archived games annually and is available for free on TV through Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV or Roku. Mobile applications are available through the iOS App Store and Google Play.
“Building a graphics package for VOD and live events across 12 different institutions and the conference office was a challenging project,” said MW Associate Commissioner for External Communications Strategy Javan Hedlund. “Venue Edge knocked it out of the ballpark by creating a fresh, modern design and usability that elevates the Mountain West Network to the next level.”
Building on its nearly three-year relationship with the conference, Venue Edge worked closely with the Mountain West’s broadcast production and communications’ teams to create new animations and graphics packages showcasing the geography of all Mountain West Conference institutions, from the majestic Rocky Mountains to the sandy beaches of California. It will also introduce new music, more than 50 customized templates for member schools to utilize, and provide on-going support to each institution.
“We’re honored to work with the Mountain West,” said Venue Edge Founder David Saphirstein. “Our relationship has grown over the past three years, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to work with great partners: Javan, Brian and their team.”
Venue Edge has provided in-venue video and LED board graphics for the 2020, 2021, and 2022 MWe Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships in Las Vegas, Nev., and the 2020 and 2021 MW Football Championship games.
