WINTER PARK, Fla. – Venue Edge (VE) is excited to once again partner with the Mountain West Conference during the Air Force Reserve Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships taking place at the historic Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev., March 7-13.
“Venue Edge provides outstanding creative designs and animations that showcase the Mountain West and it’s member institutions,” said Mountain West Conference Associate Commissioner, External Communications Strategy Javan Hedlund. “While we can’t have fans in the Thomas & Mack this year, the goal is to still provide an appealing graphical experience for student-athletes, coaches and media in the arena and to our supporters following on our social platforms.”
Venue Edge worked with the Mountain West to create a terrific experience for all student-athletes competing inside the venue and for fans following the tournament games over digital and social channels as spectators are not allowed to attend this year’s championships. The VE team updated video highlights, LED video boards and provided additional support to the conference. One of the few NCAA Division I conferences able to host a complete basketball tournament in 2020, the Mountain West, in partnership with Venue Edge, introduced a newly re-branded design and style featuring the city of Las Vegas in and around the arena.
“It was great to partner with the Mountain West again and to be able create an exciting experience for everyone at the championships,” said Venue Edge Founder David Saphirstein.
