Saturday’s event was delayed by rain, but when it restarted, it looked like every fan waited it out. The night was ultimately shortened due to a tornado warning but not before an exciting race final in the wind and rain between Grave Digger and Son-uva Digger.
The finale on Sunday did not disappoint, starting with the two-wheel skills competition which was supposed to be run on Saturday. Following the always exciting freestyle competition, the night ended with a stunt celebrating 40 years of Grave Digger.
The best part of Monster Jam is the Pit Party. Before each day’s competitions, fans meet their favorite drivers and get up close to every truck. There are engaging sponsor activations, entertainment, and of course, merchandise. One of the best sponsor activations was with Great Clips who sponsors the Great Clips Mohawk Warrior. Kids could get a “mohawk” in their favorite color at the Great Clips tent.
